With an excellent and proven track record, Marcus Tan is passionate about all things sales has been transforming individuals and businesses for the past 10 years. Climbing from the bottom of the ladder, he now leads and trains a team of 25 people in the F&B tech space as the Head of Sales at Easy Eat AI Sdn Bhd. 

A true believer in identifying value in problems and that sales is equivalent to consulting.

Some of his personal achievements include:

10X the number of clients  in 12 months

Achieved this whilst having to increase the price of the system (monthly merchant acquisition rate increased by 500%, and year-on-year merchant transaction volume increased by 700%).

Advised over 100 restaurant owners on how to use modern data

By using this method, these restaurants have increased their sales by an average of 35% per outlet.

11X the sales revenue in Mobiversa to break the company’s highest sales record. 

Doubled the monthly KPI by securing 24 accounts per month in StoreHub

He was also hired to do intense sales coaching for IRS Sdn Bhd at the height of COVID in 2020. Despite the economic shutdown, he managed to get the team to double their sales in just 2 months.

Some of the methods deployed include sales theory, role plays, on-site in-person coaching with IRS’ customers, and constant follow-up to ensure successful implementation.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Nottingham University. In his free time, he enjoys playing a good game of Ultimate Frisbee and spending quality time with his family.
